Kimberly received her Bachelor of Psychology and Education from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, followed by her Master of Social Work from the University of California Los Angeles. Kimberly is currently registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Kimberly has experience working as a psychotherapist serving adults, teens, children, and families living with severe and chronic mental illness. She has worked in residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient based settings. Kimberly received training at Harvard University’s McLean Hospital in DBT prior to attending graduate school; where she worked as community residence counselor, shift manager, skills coach, and group facilitator. Kimberly is intensively trained by Behavioral Tech in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She most recently worked as a therapist at a treatment center assisting to build their DBT program and providing therapy to personality disorders, mood disorders, psychosis, eating disorders, OCD and dually diagnosed chemical dependency. Kimberly is passionate about having a balanced lifestyle and in her spare time enjoys writing, surfing, traveling, yoga and running.
